  • “…she truly captured my kids…”

My kids had mini school sessions with Rochelle and I couldn’t be happier with the pictures she took. She was so kind and connected with my kids right away and made them feel so comfortable. She even got a genuine smile out of my cool pre-teen son 😁. She truly captured my kids, the faces they usually only make at home, genuine smiles and the relationship they have with each other. I will absolutely do this every school year.

  • A bit about me…

I’m a mom to teenagers, which means I’ve lived through years of awkward, bottom-teeth-smiling, why-are-you-wearing-a-winter-jacket school photos.
As a lifestyle family and school photographer, I value authentic connection, real personality, and laughs that start in the belly and travel all the way to the eyes. I’ve brought those values into school photography across Vancouver, where I photograph thousands of children at preschools and daycares each year.
I can’t wait to meet your kids and capture them exactly as they are right now.

Just the opposite! With traditional school photographs, families often pay $25–35 for a single digital image.

During these school mini-sessions, you have access to your WHOLE gallery of 8-12 digital images for only $135, allowing you to print as many copies as you’d like in whatever sizes you want.

Print pricing is in line with what you can expect to pay for traditional school photographs. Single prints start at $20, and Print Packages range from $25-$100

You are welcome to bring all your kids! At the time of booking, please reserve consecutive time slots for your children.

Cost for the first child is $135, and then $85 for each additional child.

I will also capture a few frames of them together, at no additional cost.

Within 2 weeks after the school mini-sessions, you will be emailed a link to a password protected online gallery. You will be able to download your photos from here, and order prints and wall products if you wish.

Here’s what  I am doing to keep my clients safe:

  • I am fully vaccinated and boosted.
  • Please don’t come to the studio if anyone in your family is ill.
  • Masks are not required inside the studio (unless you prefer)
  • Only one client family will be allowed in the studio at a time. You will be asked to wait outside for a few moments while the family ahead of you finishes up.

I pride myself in my special rapport with children. Your child will be given the space and time to relax and be themselves. It usually takes just a few minutes of my silliness to have everyone crack some real smiles (and belly laughs!)

But I will never force a child to smile – I honour who they are at this moment in time, even if that means they are more serious.

Great news – I’ve done a whole blog about what to wear to your school mini-sessions, so check it out here!
